The jewel of the house

Small, modern and built to make top-end wines

The barrel hall

The wines we make rest in the barrel hall, with automatic temperature and humidity control. In that silence they build their character in French and American oak (100 % of each) until the right moment to bottle. Limited-production wines and all of our enthusiasm.

The Tinta de Toro

The variety that gives this appellation its character grows on sandy soils, with harsh winters, plenty of sun and little water. From there come deep wines, thick-skinned and dark, which is exactly what we look for when the grapes come in.

A self-sufficient estate

The Latarce wine-tourism complex was built on a self-sufficient estate, with sustainability as a starting premise rather than an add-on. This is how the facilities work today:

  • Well waterOur own borehole on the estate.
  • Photovoltaic powerOur own solar panels for the complex's consumption.
  • Our own treatment plantDrainage treated on the estate itself.
  • Passive architectureMaking the most of natural light and ventilation.
  • Thermal insulationAn optimised building envelope to cut consumption.
  • Fewer emissionsWinemaking committed to reducing energy dependence.

It is not only a matter of consistency: cutting energy dependence and emissions lets us make a healthier product, for the benefit of whoever drinks it.
